He asserted that this rejection, occurring less than two months into the government’s term, indicated a significant dissent among the populace.

Highlighting concerns about the government’s credibility, Solih accused the current administration of propagating falsehoods to attain power, asserting that these fabrications were now being exposed. He predicted a future where the entire country would express dissatisfaction with the government.

Calling for expedited land handovers to the residents of Hulhumale’, Gulhifalhu, and Giraavaru, Solih linked the government’s actions in this regard to potential outcomes in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

In a direct critique of the government’s current leadership, Solih accused them of persistently resorting to deceitful tactics, emphasising the need for honesty and transparency in governance.

Solih expressed confidence in Adam Azim’s ability to meet the expectations of Male’s residents. He stated that Azim, as the newly elected mayor on the MDP ticket, had a clear vision for the city’s future and was committed to implementing changes based on the desires of the people.
