Aamin Wins National Bodyboarding League, Eyan Claims Junior Title

Aamin Umar Moosa has been crowned the champion of this year’s National Bodyboarding League, while Eyan Ahmed has claimed the National Junior Champion title.

Aamin secured victory against Ali Khushruwan Ahmed in the finals of the first two league competitions and reached the semi-finals of the National Bandufilaa Challenge, the final tournament of the league.

Aamin was defeated by Ashraf Hassan in the semi-finals of the Bandufilaa Challenge but claimed the overall league championship as Ashraf went on to beat Khushruwan in the finals.
The Junior Men’s Open Category Champion title in the Bandufilaa Challenge was secured by Eyan Ahmed. Abdul Ahad reached the finals after defeating Mohamed Azan Ahmed, last year’s league champion who had won all tournaments, in the semi-final. Eyan advanced to the final after beating Nooh Mohamed Dhunaim Irshad in the semi-finals.

This marks Eyan’s first Junior League Championship. He had previously won the champion spot in the first tournament of this year’s league, the Burunu Shikaaru, and reached the finals of the subsequent Labera Challenge.
