These desks will be located at Kalaafaanu School Hall starting from 9th March 2025. The desk at Kalaafaanu School Hall will operate from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM and from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM.
In addition, a service for biometric updates will also be available at Rehendhi School in Hulhumale’ Phase 1, starting today. The desk will operate from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM, with no services provided on Fridays.
Another desk will be available at North Harbour from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Employers are encouraged to inform foreign workers in the area about the service and encourage their participation.
The Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology launched a major operation last month, collecting biodata from migrant workers in the Greater Malé Area under its “Operation Kurangi.”
Operation Kurangi was the first phase of a government initiative aimed at ensuring that all immigrant workers in the country complied with regulations.
