Addu Equatorial Hospital Opens Medical Internship Opportunities

Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) has announced the opening of opportunities for medical internships at the facility. 

The hospital has stated that 15 medical officers will be selected for the first intake of the programme.

Applicants are required to submit their applications by May 15, accompanied by an attested letter of MBBS completion from a recognised medical college or university. The letter must also be accredited by the Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA). Additional necessary documents include a police clearance certificate and the certificate of provisional medical registration issued by the Maldives Medical and Dental Council.

Applications can be submitted either via email or in person at the hospital’s administrative office. In the event that more than 15 candidates apply, priority will be given to those who have completed their MBBS studies first.

As per regulations set by the Maldives Medical Council, a medical practice license is only granted after five to six years of study and one year of internship.
