Ahmed Nasif Dismissed as HDC Chairman, Assigned as Chairman of WAMCO

The Maldives Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced today that Ahmed Nasir has been dismissed as Chairman of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and appointed as the Chairman of Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO).
Nasir was appointed as the Chairman of HDC on November 6, 2024. Before this, he served as the Chairman of the Regional Airports Company since January of last year.

HDC wished Nasir the best in his endeavours and thanked him for his contributions to the company while he served as their Chairman.

PCB did not state why he was moved to other organisations in their statement.
