The project will extend the current storage capacity, which holds gas for up to 35 days, to over five months.

This increase is expected to bolster the company’s ability to meet the growing demand for LPG in the region. This development aims to significantly enhance the storage duration at the facility.

The agreement was signed during a ceremony held yesterday by Abdulla Mohamed, Managing Director of Maldive Gas, and Hussain Luwaiz, Managing Director of Allied Insurance Company.

Both executives expressed optimism about the benefits of this partnership for the local energy sector.
