As part of the forum, a session focused on mental well-being, covering topics such as mental preparedness before competitive matches, managing anxiety and fear, and developing effective communication skills. Another session addressed physical rehabilitation for athletes.
The MOC-organised forum was attended by more than 80 athletes representing 17 different sports. It aims to familiarise athletes with the rules and regulations of their respective sports, provide essential information, and promote overall wellness. Participants also engaged in discussions, sharing their experiences and perspectives.
The Maldives Olympic Committee plans to hold the Athletes’ Forum every two years.
