Both Candidates’ Spouses Cast Their Votes for Second Round

The spouses of the presidential candidates have exercised their voting rights in the ongoing 2023 Maldives Presidential Election.

First Lady Fazna Ahmed, the wife of Maldivian Democratic Party’s (MDP) candidate President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, casted her vote for the second round of the Presidential election this morning.
Similarly, Sajida Mohamed, the wife of Male’ City Mayor Mohamed Muizzu and the presidential candidate for the Peoples National Congress (PNC), also casted her vote during the second round of the 2023 Presidential Election this morning.
The polling stations across the nation opened their doors at 8 a.m. and will remain accessible to voters until 5 p.m.
