Cancer Society to Launch Screening and Awareness Campaign in HA and HDh Atolls

The Cancer Society of Maldives has unveiled plans for a cancer awareness and screening programme scheduled to take place in the HA and HDh Atoll regions.

Scheduled to take place from the 5th to the 8th of June 2024, the campaign targets communities in several islands, including Hirimaradhoo, Nellaidhoo, Naivaadhoo, Finey, Utheem, and Hanimaadhoo.

The schedule for the awareness and screening sessions is as follows:

• Hirimaradhoo: June 5th, 09:30-11:00
• Nellaidhoo: June 5th, 13:00-14:30
• Naivaadhoo: June 5th, 20:30-22:00
• Finey: June 6th, 09:30-11:00
• Utheem: June 6th, 13:00-14:30
• Hanimaadhoo: June 6th, 16:30-18:00

Residents of the aforementioned islands are encouraged to participate in this important initiative to promote community health and well-being.
