The Ministry launched ‘Roadha Hadhiya’, a specialised portal for the distribution of canned tuna cases, on Saturday. Following the launch, the Ministry increased the number of tokens available for distribution on Sunday.

Issuance of canned tuna cases will occur during designated hours, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM, allowing people to select a time that suits them. This new system eliminates the need to stand in queues, Ibrahim added.

Tokens for the issuance of canned tuna cases will now only be available through the portal, and the public is encouraged to make their bookings promptly.

The distribution of canned tuna cases was first announced by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu as a Ramadan gift to Maldivian citizens in November last year, during a ceremony marking his administration’s one-year anniversary.
