Car Crashes Into Shop in Hulhumalé After Losing Control

A car crashed into a shop in Hulhumalé early this morning after losing control and hitting a motorbike, according to the Maldives Police Service.
Police said the accident was reported at around 6am. Preliminary information indicates that the vehicle swerved to avoid a collision with an oncoming car, struck a motorbike, and then crashed into the shop.

No injuries were reported. Two men, aged 29 and 26, who were in the car at the time of the incident, have been taken into police custody.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation.
