The ambulances are tailored to suit the Maldivian context and designed with environmental sustainability in mind, according to the Ministry of Health.

Resembling buggies, they are equipped with essential medical equipment, including stretchers, prioritizing patient care and comfort.

The Ministry of Health emphasized the practicality of these ambulances, noting their suitability for navigating smaller islands where larger vehicles struggle to operate efficiently.
