Club MNDF Triumphs in National Volleyball Tournament 2023

Club MNDF secured a 3-1 victory over Club Urbanco in the men’s division of the National Volleyball Tournament.
MNDF Staff Sergeant Adam Naseem, jersey number 14, won the title of Man of the Match. Mubashshar Raza, jersey number 7, was named Best Foreign Player, while Private Hussain Razzan, jersey number 10, was named the Most Valuable Player.

The Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Abdullah Rafiu handed over certificates, medals, and a trophy to the champion team presented by The Volleyball Association of Maldives. Club MNDF had earlier secured the National Volleyball League by defeating Police Club in three straight sets on January 5.
Six teams battled in the league, and four in the national tournament, including Police Club, City Sports Club, Club Urbanco, and Club Wamco.
Distinguished guests included Vice Chief of Defense Force, Brigadier General Ibrahim Hilmy, Minister of State for Sports Fitness and Recreation, Mohamed Riyaz, Principal Secretary to the President on Cabinet Affairs, Ahmed Ali Habeeb, sports honours National Award winner Mr. Sayyid Ali, and Volleyball Association of Maldives Vice President, Ali Ashraf.
