Colonel Saleem Assumes Command of the Coast Guard

In a recent announcement, Colonel Mohamed Saleem has taken the helm as the newly appointed Commandant of the Coast Guard. 

Colonel Saleem brings with him the experience of having previously served as the Principal Director of the Coast Guard and as the Coast Guard Commander.

The position of Coast Guard Commandant was previously held by Brigadier General Ibrahim Hilmy. However, following his appointment as the Vice Chief of the Defense Force on the 13th of this month, the role of Coast Guard chief remained unoccupied.
