Creator Hub to Open in November as Part of National Creative Economy Initiative
Creator Hub, developed by BCC, slated to open this November for creative initiatives
The Creator Hub, being developed by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC), is scheduled to open in November this year.
The project forms part of the government’s broader strategy to advance the creative economy and support innovation and technical development across the country.
The initiative was finalised by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu with guidance from his cabinet. During the opening sitting of Parliament, President Dr Muizzu highlighted ongoing efforts to promote and assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Maldives. He identified the development of the Creator Hub as a key measure to strengthen support for SMEs and elevate their contribution to the national economy.
The Creator Hub will offer flexible working spaces tailored for industry professionals. The facility is designed to provide all essential tools and equipment for optimal productivity while bringing together the full range of BCC’s services under one roof. In addition, the hub will feature an Authentic Maldives shop within the premises.
Construction of the eight-floor structure’s sheet piling has been completed, and the remaining works are expected to conclude later this year. The facility will comprise 11 floors in total, offering a technologically equipped environment to meet the needs of creative and professional sectors.
The design and construction contract for the Creator Hub was awarded to Fedo Pvt Ltd. The hub will be located in Male’ city and occupy a designated area of 1,500 acres, positioning it as a central resource for innovation, collaboration, and enterprise development in the Maldives.
