Dead Body Found in Male’ House

The body of a deceased male was discovered in a house in Male’ today.

Police reported that they received information regarding an unconscious person found in a house on Gulabi Magu. Officers were promptly dispatched to the scene, and the individual was transported to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Upon arrival at the hospital, the man was declared dead. He has been identified as Abdulla Hassan, 53, of Ma. Hudhu Akiri.

Authorities confirmed that no visible injuries were observed on the body, as per the hospital’s assessment. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is currently underway.

Man Found Dead in Hulhumale’ Lagoon Identified as Fisherman

The body discovered floating in the lagoon of Hulhumale’ yesterday afternoon has been identified as that of a fisherman.

Police have named the deceased as Ibrahim Jinah Mohamed, 36, from Coconut Villa, Meemu Atoll Maduvvari. He had worked aboard a yellowfin tuna fishing vessel.

Following necessary examinations, the body was released to his family. The funeral was held last night at the Hulhumale’ Cemetery.
