Deadline to Participate in Digital Solution Hackathon 2023 is Tonight
In collaboration with Women in Tech Maldives, the National Democratic Institute (NDI) has announced registrations for the Digital Solution Hackathon 2023 to close today at 9:00 PM.

The primary objective of this hackathon is to raise awareness about media literacy and to develop solutions that combat misinformation and disinformation. Teams consisting of three to five members are invited to register for this hackathon with the goal of creating innovative approaches to address false information. Five teams will be selected from the registered participants to compete in the event.

The focal point of the hackathon will be to identify fresh and inventive ideas that pertain to issues within the Maldives problem domain. The winning team will be awarded a prize of USD 8,000.
The Debunkathon will feature interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and knowledge-sharing sessions organized by the event hosts. Competing teams will have the chance to receive guidance, expert advice, and support from experienced mentors in relevant fields.
