Dhiraagu Celebrates Outstanding Talent at Their Annual Awards
Dhiraagu hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony, bringing together leadership and staff to recognise employees whose dedication, innovation and excellence continue to drive the company forward.
The annual event marked a key moment in the company’s calendar, celebrating individuals who have demonstrated long-term commitment and outstanding performance. It also reinforced a culture appreciation, collaboration and continuous growth. The ceremony was attended by Chairperson of the Communications Authority of Maldives, Ilyas Ahmed, alongside Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed, board directors, and members of the company’s leadership and staff.
A total of 88 employees received recognition for their contributions this year. This included 53 long-serving staff who have completed 10, 15 and 25 years of service. In addition, 34 employees were honoured for notable achievements, comprising 14 Divisional Merit Awards across three projects, and two Outstanding Leaders Awards. According to the company, these awards reflect the breadth of talent within the organisation and highlight individuals and teams who have exceeded expectations in supporting strategic objectives.
The Chairperson’s Award was presented to Khalaf Mohamed Nafiz from Consumer Services. He was recognised for consistent performance, innovation and his ability to deliver results. The company stated that Khalaf began his career through the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme and played a key role in developing a platform that enhanced commercial performance, streamlined processes and strengthened responsiveness to evolving market needs.
