Dhiraagu Launches Ramadan Community Support Initiatives via DhiraaguPay

Dhiraagu has launched two community support initiatives this Ramadan, allowing customers to Donate a Meal or Donate to a Family conveniently through DhiraaguPay.

Under the Donate a Meal initiative, Dhiraagu has partnered with Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives to distribute meal packs to migrant workers near mosques in the Greater Malé Region. Dhiraagu contributed 1,000 meal packs and enables customers to add additional meals at MVR 60 each via DhiraaguPay.

Through the Donate to a Family programme, Dhiraagu has partnered with Mom’s Aid to support families in need across the Maldives. The company is providing 100 care baskets containing essential food items, prioritising single mothers and families caring for children with disabilities. Each basket is valued at MVR 1,200, and customers can contribute any amount toward the initiative.

Contributions can be made by selecting the preferred cause through DhiraaguPay, with donations transferred directly to the respective NGOs.

“Ramadan is a time of compassion and generosity, and we aim to make giving simple and accessible,” Dhiraagu said. “These initiatives bring customers and communities together to foster care and connection throughout the holy month.”
