Dhiraagu Renews Partnership with Maldivian Red Crescent

Dhiraagu has renewed its partnership with the Maldivian Red Crescent’s “Partners for Humanity Initiative” for 2024–2025, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the organisation’s humanitarian efforts.

Under this renewed partnership, Dhiraagu will continue to provide vital assistance to the Maldivian Red Crescent’s ongoing initiatives. The company has been a corporate member of the organisation from 2018 to 2022, contributing to a range of humanitarian projects during that period.

Through its involvement in the Partners for Humanity Initiative, Dhiraagu aims to offer sustainable support to vulnerable communities across the Maldives, both in times of disaster and under normal circumstances. This support encompasses first aid, psychosocial assistance, and other disaster relief efforts.

The partnership will also play a key role in facilitating the training of humanitarian workers and the development of Maldivian Red Crescent units across different regions of the country.

Commenting on the renewed collaboration, Dhiraagu’s Director of Brand and Marketing Communications, Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, praised the valuable work carried out by the Maldivian Red Crescent and reaffirmed Dhiraagu’s dedication to supporting these humanitarian initiatives.

The Maldivian Red Crescent expressed gratitude for Dhiraagu’s continued support, emphasising that this collaboration will enhance their ability to deliver critical aid to the most vulnerable during emergencies and disasters, while also strengthening the bond between the two organisations.
