DNR Announces Extension of ID Card Services During Ramadan Holidays

The Department of National Registration (DNR) has disclosed its plans to extend National Identity Card services during the final 10 days of Ramadan, which coincide with designated public holidays, as well as in emergency situations.

In a statement released yesterday via X, DNR advised individuals in need of ID card services during emergencies or over the holiday period to contact 7280368.

Previously, the department had outlined that ID card issuance would be available from 09:30 to 11:30 on both weekdays and weekends throughout Ramadan. 

Despite the government’s declaration of public holidays for the last 10 days of Ramadan, DNR has confirmed its commitment to providing services on the upcoming Monday, Wednesday, and the subsequent Monday, all of which fall within the holiday period.
