ECM Publishes Political Party Registry List

The Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM) has released a list of all currently registered members of political parties.
ECM has acknowledged the complaints about inadvertent admissions and unintentional transfers of members from one political party to another.

To confirm inclusion or verify one’s status on the list, individuals are encouraged to send a text message with the format “PPR (space) ID number” to 1414.
Additionally, ECM has made available a “Political Party Register Complaint Form” on its website and at the commission’s office.
The deadline for submitting complaints is set for 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 30. Complaints can be lodged via the ECM email address info@elections.gov.mv or by submitting the complaint form either in person.
