The Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM) will hold walk‑in interviews in Malé this week to recruit contract staff for the upcoming Local Council Elections and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.
The first interview session is scheduled for 26 December at Kaamil Didi Primary School in Hulhumalé Phase II, followed by a second session on 27 December at Kalaafaanu School in Malé. Interviews will take place daily from 16:00 to 22:30.
Applicants are required to bring their national ID card, educational certificates, and a copy of their CV. Eligible candidates will be interviewed on the spot, with practical tests conducted immediately after application submission.
The commission plans to recruit 172 contract employees who will serve until the completion of the election process. Selected staff will be provided with salaries, allowances, and overtime pay.
The Local Council Elections and WDC elections are scheduled for 4 April next year.
