Expat Found Dead at Sea Near Kandooma

An expatriate has been found dead at sea near Kandooma in Kaafu Atoll, the Maldives Police Service has confirmed.
Police said they received a report of the sighting at around 10:17am today and that officers have since been deployed to the area where the body was found.

According to police, the deceased is a male expatriate. Authorities have not released further details at this stage.
Police said the case remains under investigation and have urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
