Family Court Announces Revised Marriage Ceremony Timings for Ramadan and First Days of Shawwal

The Family Court has announced revised working hours and service arrangements for the holy month of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal, according to a press release issued yesterday.
Under the new schedule, no marriage ceremonies will be held during daytime fasting hours in Ramadan. Night-time ceremonies during Ramadan will take place between 9:45pm and 10:45pm. The same timing will apply for marriage ceremonies during the first seven days of Shawwal.
According to the press release, the court’s official working hours during Ramadan will run from 9:00am to 1:30pm, with the same hours applied during the first seven days of Shawwal.
Public counter services, including general services and the submission of marriage applications, will be available from 9:30am to 12:00pm throughout the period.
