FENAKA Announces Ramadan Discount on Utility Bills

FENAKA Corporation has announced a discount on utility bills for this Ramadan, following a decision by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. 

The corporation has outlined four methods for applying discounts to both water and electricity bills during the holy month.

The discounts will be calculated based on the difference between the Ramadan bill and the average bills from previous months, excluding February, March, and April, which were the warmest months last year. If the difference between the Ramadan bill and the average of the previous nine months is at least 10 percent, a 10 percent discount will be applied. This discount will also apply if the Ramadan bill is lower than the average of the previous months.

In addition, new customers receiving water and electricity services during Ramadan will be eligible for a 10 percent discount on their Ramadan bill. FENAKA stated that customers can easily estimate their water and electricity bills in advance, noting that these discounts aim to prevent bills from rising excessively.

Meanwhile, STELCO has also announced a 10 percent discount on electricity bills for this Ramadan.
