FENAKA is also recommending a tender for the procurement of an additional 1.8 MW generator, which is expected to be available by the end of the year. The corporation stated that the new capacity will ensure adequate electricity supply during the upcoming Ramadan.
FENAKA has been sending generators to Addu City at various times to address the disruption caused by these outages and is working towards a permanent solution to the electricity problems in the city.
