The Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure has confirmed that the last two sections of Ameenee Magu will be fully unveiled to the public on January 13, Saturday.
Scheduled for accessibility from 0600hrs on January 10, the intersections of Ameenee Magu and Izzuddeen Magu, as well as Kanba Aisaarani Magu and Ameenee Magu, mark the completion of the 28-day project. The Road Development Corporation (RDC) concluded asphalt laying on January 7, with ongoing efforts to install traffic signs along the newly developed road sections.
Additionally, the ministry has announced that segments 12 and 13 of Ameenee Magu are expected to open to the public on January 13 at 0600hrs.
The Ameenee Magu development project, initiated by the previous government, encountered delays and suspension as the presidential election approached last year.
However, redevelopment of the remaining segments, 12 and 13, commenced on December 9, featuring the incorporation of four lanes to enhance public convenience upon completion.
