A room in an apartment in Hulhumalé has been completely destroyed by fire, leaving it beyond use. The incident occurred in Hulhumalé Phase 1, with no injuries reported.

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) confirmed that the fire took place at the apartment of Lot 10066 at 8:49am. MNDF firefighters responded promptly and extinguished the blaze by 9:25am.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation.
