Fitr Eid Prayers Scheduled at Four Major Locations in Greater Malé Area

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that Fitr Eid prayers in large congregations will be held at four locations across the Malé region.

The ministry published a list of locations on its website, confirming that prayers in the Malé area will take place at Maafannu Stadium, Vilimale’ Football Grounds, the Synthetic Track in Hulhumalé Phase 1, and the empty plot of land adjacent to Masjid Hassan Adam, Nirolhu Magu, Heenaamaa Hin’gun, Feyrugas Magu, and Dhun’burigas Magu in Hulhumalé Phase 2.

Fitr Eid prayers are scheduled to commence at 7:00 am.

In addition to these four venues, which can accommodate large congregations, the ministry said that Fitr Eid prayers will also be conducted in 24 mosques across the Malé area.

According to the calendar, Fitr Eid this year is expected to fall on Friday, 20 March.
