Fiyavathi’s Children’s Lego Competition Concludes
The Ministry of Family and Social Development has announced the results of the four-day Lego tournament organised by Fiyavathi, which provides care for children taken into state custody.
The tournament concluded last evening, offering the children a valuable opportunity to showcase their diverse skills. Various creations, including cars, houses, and trucks, were designed and displayed during the competition, promoting teamwork among the participants.
The primary objectives of the tournament were to highlight the children’s skills, foster creativity, teach teamwork, encourage time management, and instil good habits of sharing and cooperation.
A total of 40 children over the age of 10 participated in the competition, with all receiving prizes for their efforts. The event brought joy and satisfaction to the children, allowing them to engage in an activity they enjoy and have fun.
