Foundation Laid for Filladhoo Health Centre Upgrade

The foundation for the Health Centre upgrade in Filladhoo, Haa Alifu Atoll, was laid yesterday.

At a ceremony held on the island, Member of Parliament for the Kelaa constituency, Abdulla Shareef, laid the foundation to kickstart the work of this project. 

The event was attended by Managing Director of the Road Development Corporation (RDC), Ibrahim Nazim, and Senior Administrator of Health Services, Mohamed Jameel. President of the Filladhoo Island Council, Fathulla Hassan, and Council Member Mohamed Moosa were also present.

Under the project, the Filladhoo Health Centre will receive additional space and enhanced resources aimed at improving healthcare services for residents.

In addition, authorities held a separate ceremony to officially inaugurate the island’s road development project, marking progress in local infrastructure improvements.
