According to the company, the new head office will consolidate all departments under one roof, replacing the current arrangement where employees are dispersed across five different buildings in Malé. The move is expected to reduce leasing expenses and improve operational efficiency.
Chinese firm Hunan No. 6 Engineering Company Ltd has been contracted to build the 12-storey structure, which will span an area of approximately 4,745 square feet. The first floor is planned to feature a ticket office, while the remaining floors will accommodate the company’s offices.
IAS has announced that construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2026.
