Gasim Unveils Sweeping Development Visions for Naifaru

Gasim Ibrahim, the Presidential candidate representing the Jumhooree Party (JP), has outlined an array of developmental pledges for the advancement of Naifaru, should he secure office.

During a recent campaign visit to the island, Gasim addressed the locals, unveiling his commitment to several substantial projects geared towards enhancing Naifaru’s infrastructure and prospects.

Foremost among his promises is the enhancement of the island’s road network to align with contemporary standards. Simultaneously, Gasim expressed his intent to undertake land dredging efforts, a move aimed at maximising available land space. Furthermore, he pledged to allocate land for both commercial activities and residential purposes.

In the realm of healthcare, Gasim announced his plans to establish a tertiary level hospital on the island. This initiative is poised to address the healthcare needs of the local population and potentially reduce the necessity for off-island medical treatment. Concurrently, he emphasised his aspiration to bolster employment prospects for the island’s youth, contributing to their economic empowerment.

An additional focal point in Gasim’s vision for Naifaru involves the advancement of the fish processing facility within the province. By augmenting its functionality and profitability, he aims to provide a valuable economic avenue for the island’s residents.
