Gender Ministry Takes Action in Response to Child Abuse Video

The Ministry of Family, Gender, and Social Services has responded to a concerning video circulating on social media, alleging child abuse by a mother. 

Upon becoming aware of the video, the Ministry initiated necessary measures to safeguard the child’s welfare.

The child has been relocated to a secure and protective environment, prioritising their safety above all else, according to the Ministry.

The circulating video showed a mother hitting her child, dressed in a school uniform, upon exiting an elevator. The video has also garnered public outrage over social media.

In light of this situation, the Ministry urges the public to exercise caution and responsibility when encountering such incidents. If you come across any content suggesting child abuse on social media, please refrain from sharing the video or photo further.
