President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the Maldives Passport Service across the country, with Ihavandhoo now included as a collection point.

It was launched during the President’s official visit to the province, where he reiterated his administration’s commitment to decentralising essential services. With the introduction of this service, individuals who apply for passports online via the Imuga portal can now collect them directly from Ihavandhoo, eliminating the need to travel to Malé for pickup.

The government aims to expand passport collection points to additional locations in the coming months, facilitating easier access for residents across the Maldives.
