Gov’t Announces ‘Dhan’duveri Manfaa’ Matching Grant Programme

The Maldives Agribusiness Programme (MAP) has launched the ‘Dhan’duveri Manfaa’ Matching Grant Program, aimed at enhancing sustainable, climate-smart agricultural production in designated project regions.

Announced today, the initiative is backed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare and funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

With a total allocation of MVR 15.1 million, the grant program seeks to provide financial assistance to agricultural ventures that align with the goals of sustainable development and climate resilience. 

The funding is expected to support a range of projects designed to improve agricultural practices and boost productivity in a manner that mitigates the impact of climate change.
