Gov’t Announces Opportunity to Apply for Japanese Scholarships

The Ministry of Higher Education has announced a fully funded scholarship opportunity under the Japanese Project for Human Resource Development Scholarships (JDS).

In a significant move, Japan has extended the invitation to Maldivian candidates to vie for six fully-funded master’s degree scholarships.
These scholarships encompass a diverse range of disciplines, including Master of Environmental Sciences, Master of Public Policy, Master of Public Administration, and Master of Arts in International Relations. Successful applicants will have the privilege of pursuing their studies at esteemed institutions such as the University of Tsukuba, the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), or Ritsumeikan University.
