Gov’t Awards Contract for New Classrooms at Lh. Atoll Education Centre

The government has awarded the contract for the construction of eight classrooms and an administration block at the Lhaviyani Atoll Education Centre to the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC).

The contract was granted during President Mohamed Muizzu’s meeting with the people of Hinnavaru. The project agreement was signed by Minister of Education Dr Ismail Shafeeu on behalf of the Ministry, while Deputy Managing Director Ibrahim Razzan signed on behalf of FDC.

President Muizzu stated at a ceremony in Hinnavaru that the construction of the classrooms and administration block will be carried out promptly, emphasising the government’s commitment to advancing educational infrastructure in the atoll.
