The training is being conducted in two phases, with the first group of over 150 participants—comprising newly recruited staff and employees transitioning from the existing terminal—set to complete the programme by 9 July.
MACL’s Deputy Chief Officer of Passenger Service, Ali Mushtaq, highlighted that delivering outstanding service remains the company’s top priority. He emphasised the organisation’s efforts to equip employees with the skills necessary to operate effectively in the new terminal environment.
General Manager of Learning and Development, Misbah Ahmed, explained that the training is carefully designed to reflect national values such as sincerity and hospitality. She described the terminal as a spacious, fully equipped facility intended to support high standards of passenger care.
The new terminal is scheduled to open alongside the country’s Independence Day celebrations and is intended to serve as a modern, high-capacity hub. Staff training and operational preparations are progressing steadily as part of MACL’s final-phase rollout plans.
