Gov’t Establishes CCTV Monitoring Centre and Launches Estate Security Services in Hulhumale’

The government has established a CCTV Monitoring Command Centre in Hulhumale’ as part of efforts to enhance security in the suburban city.

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) confirmed that the command centre has been set up at Vinares Flat Nine in Hulhumale’ Phase II to strengthen security in the area and improve overall safety in Hulhumale’. The Corporation is also installing CCTV cameras outside Hiyaa Flats, home to thousands of residents.
In addition, HDC launched estate security services during a ceremony held on Sunday night, unveiling the uniform and logo of the new service. The Corporation stated that the primary objective of the estate security services is to ensure the safety of residents and their property.
HDC added that security personnel will receive professional training and be provided with the necessary resources to carry out their duties effectively.
