Gov’t Establishes Embassy of Maldives in Türkiye

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has established the Embassy of Maldives in Ankara, Türkiye, which will be administratively overseen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The Embassy, instituted in accordance with the authority conferred upon the President by Article 116 of the Constitution, was established to enhance bilateral relations and promote the political, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries.

The directive issued by the President’s Office outlined the work assigned to the Maldives Embassy in Türkiye. It also mentions the official name of the establishment.
