Gov’t Reveals Schedule for Saudi Dates Distribution

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has disclosed the scheduled distribution times for the dates generously donated by the Saudi government to the Maldives.
Traditionally, Saudi Arabia extends its benevolence to the Maldives by providing dates during the holy month of Ramadan. These distributions typically occur before Ramadan commences or within its initial week.
However, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has now officially announced the distribution schedule, which was released yesterday.
Outlined below are the dates and timings for the distribution of dates:
- April 8-9, from 1pmto 3pm.
- April 14-18, from 1pm to 3pm.
- April 23-25, from 9:30am to 12pm.
The distribution of dates will be overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, with each household entitled to one packet of dates. Individuals must present their ID cards during collection.
