In addition, internal medicine specialists have commenced services in six locations during the same period. These include Foakaidhoo in Shaviyani Atoll, Velidhoo and Holhudhoo in Noonu Atoll, Meedhoo in Raa Atoll, Dharavandhoo in Baa Atoll and Aaminaadhioa Health Clinic.
Dialysis services have also been expanded to 10 new islands under a policy established by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
