Therefore, in accordance with the last stage of voiding the contract, HDC has given JAAH Investments legal notice to complete the project within 45 days. Failure to deliver a completed project within the provided deadline will result in the project being removed from the company, HDC said.

“This corporation would like to highlight this action was taken to ensure the people that already paid for the apartments will receive their apartments as soon as possible,” HDC said in their press statement.

According to The Garden’s website, the residential complex will include a cafe, a market, and its parking and security. Other amenities include play areas for children, swimming pools, a garden pavilion, and a gym.

Jaah Investments was established in 2016, initially as JAUSA Investments, was a joint extension of the companies under the JAUSA brand; JAUSA Trading Maldives and  JAUSA Construction Maldives. According to Jaah Investments’ website, the rebrand was made in 2018 to have a “greater focus on a wide range of investments, enabling the JAUSA brand to continue to be associated with the construction industry, where it has been thoroughly established.”
