The Health Expo 2025, a one-stop destination for health information, opened last Thursday and will run until tomorrow at Hulhumalé Central Park.
The expo was inaugurated by the First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, and according to the President’s Office, the Health Expo is part of the administration’s efforts to promote a healthy generation. Organised by the Ministry of Health, the event aims to inform the public about Government initiatives to improve wellbeing and raise awareness of healthy lifestyle practices. Held under the theme “Together Towards a Healthy Generation,” the expo will take place on 13, 15, and 16 November.
The expo provides information on key health issues, recommended next steps, and preventive measures to reduce disease transmission. Several stalls are also offering free checks, including blood pressure, weight, hair, and other health indicators.
More than 50 organisations are participating this year, presenting a wide range of healthcare information and guidance on interpreting and acting upon it. Hospitals from the Greater Malé Region and across the country are also part of the event.
