Higher Education Ministry Opens Applications for SAARC Scholarships in Bangladesh

The Ministry of Higher Education has opened applications for South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) scholarships to study in Bangladesh, offering opportunities for Maldivian students to pursue undergraduate medical degrees.

Under the scheme, seven scholarships are available for Bachelor’s-level programmes in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).

The ministry said applications are now open and will close on 21 December 2025 at 12:00pm. Eligible applicants are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.Further details on eligibility criteria and the application process can be obtained from the Ministry of Higher Education.
