Himandhoo Power Station Employees Raise Over MVR 260,000 for Gaza Relief

Employees of the AA. Himandhoo power station, in collaboration with the Himandhoo Council, government institutions, and local club associations, have raised a total of MVR 260,800 in aid for the people of Gaza, Palestine, through the “Help Gaza – Dhivehin Han’dhaaneh Nunethey” (“Help Gaza – Maldivians Won’t Forget You”) campaign.
Of the total amount raised, MVR 126,560 was contributed by the power plant’s employees. The campaign, organised as a community effort, aimed to extend support to those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) expressed appreciation for the contributions made by the employees, highlighting their dedication to social service. “We are proud of the example set by the employees of this company in such social service activities and would like to thank them sincerely,” STELCO stated.
