Hospitals in Male’ Extend Visitation Hours

Hospitals in the Malé area have extended patient visitation hours, effective from Sunday, 9 March 2025.

According to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) Chief Executive Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq, visiting hours for family and relatives at Malé City Group hospitals will now be from 17:00 to 22:30. The revised schedule applies to IGMH, Dharumavantha Hospital, Hulhumalé Hospital, and Vilimalé Hospital.

IGMH confirmed that the extended hours do not apply to patients in Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Critical Care Units (CCU).

The revised schedule will remain in effect from Monday, 10 March, until 4 April.

IGMH, which serves the highest number of patients in the Malé area, typically allows visitors between 17:00 and 20:00.
