HRCM to Host Advocacy Programme in ADh. Mahibadhoo

The Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) is set to conduct a two-day programme on 23–24 February 2025 in A.Dh Mahibadhoo to equip 25 participants from A.Dh Atoll with the skills to advocate for human rights and gender equality.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of human rights and the rights of human rights defenders, while also empowering participants to advocate for gender equality at the community level. A key focus of the programme will be discussions on increasing women’s participation in politics.
